| 8 Nov | Congratulations to Sean Waine, age 10, for gaining promotion to Div 2 by achieving 1st place, 5 seconds clear of his nearest rival, in the Men’s K1 Div 3 Slalom event at Sowerby Bridge on 16th October. This is an excellent result, particularly for someone of Sean’s age, because at this level he has been competing directly against teenagers and adults who all have a good set of paddling skills, and have one sole aim - Div 2! Well done Sean! |

Thanks and Good Luck Dave. |
| 8 Aug | The Kelham to Meadowhall trip was a great success, thanks to everyone who turned up and endured the constant need to keep getting out of our boats due to the lack of water in places. The 6 hour paddle took alot out of us all but we still had smiles on our faces at the end. Massive thanks to those that provided logistical support in ferrying members. |
